Katy Shimizu is part of the Azure Functions team at Microsoft, where she creates serverless cloud technologies. Her current project is Durable Functions, an extension that introduces workflow and state management to Functions’ event-based distributed programming model. A software engineer for three years, she is passionate about effective knowledge transfer via conference speaking, community involvement and good documentation.
